IxDA is the Interaction Design Association, a network dedicated to the professional practice of Interaction Design.

Hello, my name is Cristine Baumgarten. I became with IxDA in 2008 when I attended the Interaction Design Conference in California.  It was great to be able to chat with like-minded professionals and to become educated on the latest trends and technologies.

The IxDA Manifesto: We believe that the human condition is increasingly challenged by poor experiences. IxDA intends to improve the human condition by advancing the discipline of Interaction Design. To do this, we foster a community of people that choose to come together to support this intention. IxDA relies on individual initiative, contribution, sharing and self-organization as the primary means for us to achieve our goals. The Colorado Springs IxDA's main purpose is to be in the real-world rather than just the virtual.

I hope you will enjoy the group and contribute to it's growth in our area, Colorado Springs.  Since it's newly organized here, we can plan and figure out how we'd like to proceed.
